WWL ALS Moves Construction Equipment from China to South Africa
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Abnormal Load Services (WWL ALS) in South Africa worked with its global logistics network to arrange for the factory-to-dealer shipment of three excavators and two bulldozers from the Zoomlion construction factory in China to Zoomlion Boksburg, South Africa.
Working together within the WWL network ensured a smooth transit from departure in China through to arrival in South Africa, WWL ALS said in a statement. The shipment was loaded at the Port of Shanghai and arrived at the Port of Durban.
WWL ALS arranged the inland transport from the Port of Durban. Once inspected and passed by customs, the excavators and bulldozers were collected and transported by road from the port. The journey to Zoomlion’s Boksburg Depot near Johannesburg covered 600 kilometers.
