Loadline Delivers CFM56-7B Engine

Logistics firm LoadLine has completed delivery of an urgent airfreight cargo as well as being appointed as an exclusive member for the Universal Freight Organisation, or UFO, in Morocco.

The firm delivered a cargo weighing 4,665 kilograms from Casablanca, Morocco, to Istanbul, Turkey. The unit consisted of a CFM56-7B aircraft engine and measured 2.54 meters in length.

“The cargo was loaded on a Turkish airline freighter (A330-200F) on an urgent basis for this special AOG … the engine was received on time and in good order at the destination,” said Asmae Makdoun, export customer service representative for LoadLine.

Global breakbulk and project cargo network UFO also added transportation firm Maziza Logistique as its latest member in Senegal, where it delivers customs clearing and forwarding expertise. Headquartered in the capital Dakar the firm provides a range of services in the project cargo sector including ground transportation, airfreight and ocean freight.

“Customs clearance is how we started and therefore we are very experienced and highly knowledgeable with regards to customs rules, legislations, and procedures. We know that continual improvement and creativity are critical to our ability to serve the logistics marketplace,” said Maziza Logistique CEO Moussa Beye.

The UFO network is a global transport network that includes members in more than 115 countries around the world. Its members employ some 3,000 staff and cover more than 2,000 air and seaports.
