AGL Completes Three Breakbulk Moves
German transport firm Alexander Global Logistics has completed three recent project cargo moves in Africa and Europe.
One of the largest consignments was a delivery of 122 tonnes of over-dimensional cement mill parts. These were delivered to Lomé the capital and largest city of the West African state of Togo.
A team from AGL also handled a separate cargo of about 12,000 freight-tonnes of components for gas power stations. The consignment was collected in Italy and delivered successfully to Tema in Ghana.
The final project involved a cargo headed for the port of Annaba in Algeria as part of a 2,000 freight-tonne part-charter.
“For all of these shipments, AGL organized the pre-carriages, documentation, surveys, handling, sea-freight (including chartering), and on-carriage to the jobsites in Africa,” an AGL spokesperson said.
Headquartered in Bremen in Northern Germany, AGL provides ship chartering services, transshipment, warehousing and distribution as well as full service logistics for heavy-lift and project cargo deliveries.
